“What
is the difference between a rational and an irrational number? Provide an
example of each as well as a justification as to how it is classified as this
type of number.
The difference between rational and irrational numbers is one can be terminated and one cannot, also one reapeats and the other one just keeps going without reapition.
ReplyDelete9.127645....is irational
2.5 ...is a rational number
The difference between a rational and irrational number is that a rational number is a non repeating, divisible number that doesn't not have a left over number. While irrational is a repeating decimal that is a non divisible. Ex. 3/6 (rational) over 1.23233333... (irrational.
ReplyDeleteThe difference between rationl and irrational numbers is that rational is whole numbers, non-terminating, non-repating numbers. And irrational numbers are terminating and repeating so basically they are the opposite of each other.
ReplyDeletelevel 3 uu forgot urr examples !! :D

ReplyDeletethe differernce between rational and irrational is that with irrational numbers it repeats itself and rational numbers are numbers that can be express as a fraction
ReplyDeletethe difference between a rational and an irrational number is that a ration number is a non terminating decimal and a irrational number does terminate
ReplyDeletethe difference between ratioal and irrational numbers is that a rational number can be made into a fraction and irrational numbers are real and cannot be made into a simple fraction

ReplyDeleteThe difference between a a Rational number and an Irrational number is that a Rational number is a repeating decimal and terminating decimal numbers.EX/ 1.222. An irrational number is a non-repating and non- terminating decimals.EX/2.3456
ReplyDeleteThe difference between a rational number and a irrational is a rational number is non terminating decimal number that doesn't repeat its self. Unlike a irrational which terminates and repeats it self. Also a rational number can be be a ratio and fraction. Also the numerator is a whole just like the denomanator. For example.
ReplyDeleteRational: 2.12123421
Irrational: 34.1337891730183755635261...............

ReplyDeleteA rational number can possibly be written as a ratio and a fraction. A whole number is rational since it can be turned into a fraction. An irrational number is a non-terminating non-repeating decimal. The numbers 0 and 1 are irrational.
ReplyDeleteThe diffrence between rational and irrational numbers is that rational numbers is non repeating and is it divisible and irrational numbers are real numbers that cannot be expressed as rational numbers and connot be written as a simple fraction. For example rational 10 and irrational 2.36459
ReplyDeleteThe diifferece between a rational and irrational number is that a rational number can be writien as a ratio and , aslo as two integers such as a fraction . A irrational number is a number that can not be writen as a fraction nor; ratio.
ReplyDeleteFor example : Rational number a ratio 1.8 or 15
Irrentional number : 8.1254189......

ReplyDelete-*the difference between rational and irrational numers is that irrational numers dnt repeat or terminate, bt rational numbers do repeat and terminate .
ReplyDeletelevel 2 :D lmaoo
Deletelmaoo :))
DeleteThe difference betweeen a rational and an irrational number is that a rational number can be a ratio or expressed as a fraction and an irrational number can't. For example , 6 is a rational because it can be expressed as a fraction , such as , 6/1.
ReplyDeleteThe difference between a rational and irrational number is that rational numbers can be written as frations and do repeat. irrational numbers are decimals that dont terminate, and also dont repeat.
ReplyDeleteThe difference between a rational and irrational number is a rational number is a whole number, a fraction, a number that terminates, and can be written as a fraction. For example, 1, 1/2,and 0.6. However, an irrational number is a number that cannot be written as a fraction nor a ratio. For example, 3.1476422, and 7/3 .
ReplyDeleteThe difference between a rational and a irrational number is that a rational number is a terminating decimal that can be written as a fraction or a ratio. An irrational number is a repeating decimal that cannot be written as a fraction and does not repeat itself.

DeleteThank you I will take my high 2 :p
DeleteI give u a 2 high because you forgot the examples and sorry for removing it it was an accident
DeleteThe difference between rational and irrational numbers are that irrational numbers are numbers that cannot be expressed as proper fractions. for example, pi. rational numbers are non-repeating non-terminating decimals.
ReplyDeleteThe difference between a rational and a irrational number is a rational number can be written as a ratio(fraction0. For example,1.5 rational numbers are non-reapeting decimals. An irrational number cannot be written as ratio and it is a reapeting decimal like 1.24855667
ReplyDeleteLesly I am going to give you a level 3.
DeleteThe difference between a rational number and an irrational number is a rational number is a terminating non-repeating while, an irrational is a non-terminating number.
ReplyDeleteIrrational: pi, 2.689074........
Rational:6, 19/1
The difference between a rational and irrational number is that a rational number terminates, repeats with a pattern and can be expressed as a fraction. On the other hand, an irrational number does not terminate, can not be expressed as a fraction, and does not repeat with a pattern. For example an irrational number is: 3.453768 and an example of a rational number is: 8.
ReplyDelete3 good work
DeleteThe different between rational and irrational is that rational has a deciamal, negative, and a dash that have numbers.A irrational has a number that goes on for ever.
ReplyDeleteThe difference between a rational and a irrational number is that a rational number is a number that terminates. A irrational can can not terminate.
ReplyDeleteThe difference between an rational number and an irrationl number is that an rational number is a number that can be expressed as a fraction and sometimes in a decimal and s terminating. While an irrational number can any number that cant be expressed as any fraction and isnt terminating. EX.rational: 1.5. EX. irrational 3.45687912
